Pearl “Deskie” (Rose) Rice, 98 Deskie Rice age 98 of Wichita Falls, TX and formally of West Portsmouth, OH passed away June 30, 2018 in Wichita Falls, TX after a lengthy challenge with Congestive Heart Failure. Deskie was born in Morgan County, KY on May 11, 1920 to Clara (Benton) Williams and Chester Williams Sr. Deskie was preceded in death by her second Husband of 46 years, Harry E. Rice. One sister; Margarene Thompson and three daughters; Carolyn Sue (Rice)Thayer, Judy (Rice) Jackson and Rebecca (Rice)Collins.

Deskie is survived by a brother; Chester (Mikelann) Williams Jr. of Kent, OH; a sister Francis (Ed) Vaughn of Centerville, OH, 3 sons; Bill (Sherry) Rose of Wichita Falls, TX, Jack (Joy) Rose of Tiffin, OH, and David (Sharon) Rice of Wheelersburg, OH, 3 daughters; Mary Lou (Junior) Coleman of West Portsmouth, OH, Patricia Marcum of Crestville, FL, Janet (Michael) Hensley of Wichita Falls, TX, 21 grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren. Deskie was retired after many years with the Portsmouth National Bank and supported the national New Zealand Rabbit Club traveling many states, while assisting her late husband Harry with the duties of Club Secretary, during his lifetime dedication to the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA). The family would like to express their appreciation to the Staff and many friends at Brookdale Sikes Lake, Assisted Living facility.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM noon Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.
