Peggy Knighten Masters, 86, of Leicester, NC passed away on December 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Masters; her sister, Charline Ownbey; and her parents, Charles Knighten and Frances Knighten Calvert. Peggy is survived by two daughters, Susanne Masters Hefner (Rob), of Hendersonville, NC and Sherry Masters Lancaster, of Leicester, NC; grandchildren, Michelle Ingle (Jack), Stephanie Moore, Nora Hefner Clements (Larry) and Graham “Bo” Hefner; great-grandchildren, Chase and Reece Ingle and Kim Gowell; brother, Jack Knighten; several nieces and nephews; and loyal friends, Harold Lance and Bryant Webster.

Peggy was deeply involved as a clogging judge for various clogging competitions all over the US for many years and has received a Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into two clogging Halls of Fame. She enjoyed bowling and traveling the world. The funeral /burial will be private per Peggy’s request.
