Obituary for Peggy Ann Pressley (Spivey) Print Peggy Ann Pressley, 75, of Swannanoa, went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2019. Mrs. Pressley was born April 13, 1943 in Buncombe County to the late William Aubrey “Bo” and Annie Mae Spivey. Peggy retired from Kearfott with over 20 years of service.

She loved her family and church family. Peggy enjoyed traveling, gardening, and singing gospel music with the Happy Echoes. She was a selfless, caring person who put others before herself.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Thomas Weldon Pressley, Sr.; and brother, Charles Spivey. Peggy is survived by her sons, Thomas Weldon Pressley, Jr., James Kevin Pressley (Becky), and Allen Wayne Pressley (Veronica); siblings, David Spivey (Wanda), Faye Burnette, Linda Smith, Nancy Hanson (Ken), Janice Banks, and David Spivey, Jr. (Stacey); grandchildren, Andrew, Candace, Matthew, Jared, Ashlyn, Kaitlyn, Megan, Cassy, Skyler, and Trevor Pressley; and great grandchildren, Cadyn Pressley, Zariyah Lytle, and Bryson Pressley. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev.

Dale Patton officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
