Peggy Boyd Silvey February 24, 1955 – January 10, 2019 Peggy Boyd Silvey, age 63, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away at her residence on January 10, 2019. Peggy was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on February 24, 1955, the daughter of the late Horace Boyd and Mildred Hembree Boyd. She worked for many years in the administrative field prior to her retirement.

Peggy enjoyed several hobbies but none more than spending time with her children and her granddaughter, Josie Silvey. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren LaVere (Zachary), sons, Jason and Matthew Silvey, all of Villa Rica, Georgia; granddaughter, Josie Silvey, sisters, Carolyn Mayfield (Dallas), Villa Rica, Georgia, Louise Pollard, Bremen, Georgia, Pat Montgomery (Doug), Villa Rica, Georgia, brother, Fred Boyd (Charlotte), Villa Rica, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Silvey. The family will receive friends at J. Collins Funeral Home on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Jenkins officiating and serving as Eulogists will be Jan Mayfield, Barbara Lewis and Jason Silvey.
