Peggy Ilene Oglesby, age 67, of Elkhart passed away on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Valley View Nursing Home in Elkhart. She was born on January 25, 1951 in South Bend to the late Donald E. and Joyce C. Bowman. Peggy formerly worked for the Virginian Pilot Ledge Star in Virginia Beach, Virginia and for Bendix.

She is survived by her brother Michael (Karen) Bowman of Elkhart and her 2nd brother Charles Richard Riggs of Laurel, Montana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may visit with family 2 hours before funeral services at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at Sauktown Cemetery in Mill Creek, Indiana. Memorial donations in memory of Peggy may be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 South Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614. Online condolences may be made to the Bowman family at www.
