Perry “Glad” Wilkins, 93, of Boaz, Died Sunday morning, November 25th, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab of Paducah. Glad was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Freemasons. Glad was also a US Army World War ll combat veteran with the 84th Airborne.

Glad is survived by his daughter, Shana (Brian) Starnes of Knoxville, TN. ; one granddaughter, Samantha Lee Starnes of Knoxville, TN. ; one nephew, Mike Rhea of Metropolis, IL.

; two nieces, Tana Underwood of Paducah, and Vickie Goodman of Hopkinsville, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lee Stroud Wilkins; his parents, Perry Oswald Wilkins and Versie Keeling Wilkins; and two sisters, Lucille Wilkins Rhea, and Vera Wilkins Williams. Graveside services will be on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens starting at 10am with Brother David Godfrey officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Diabetes Foundation. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.
