George “GW” Ross, 65, of Paducah, died Thursday morning, November 15th, 2018 at Baptist Health of Paducah. GW was a retired sheet metal worker with Cole Electric of Paducah. Gw was a US Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was also a member of the Paducah chapter VFW post #1191, and the Paducah chapter of the American Legion Post # 31. GW is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary; one son, Jason Ross of Paducah; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Ross Sr., and Lena E. Wood Ross; two children, Amber Talley and Andrew Willis; six brothers and one sister.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will start immediately following visitation at 1pm with Brother Dennis Lawrence officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
