Obituary for Pete Mahaffey Roger Dale “Redbird” Mahaffey, 67, of Arcadia, SC, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 18, 1951, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Hubert Willard Mahaffey and Helen Boiter Mahaffey. Mr. Mahaffey was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and employed with Arrow Automotive for 13 years.

Surviving are his sisters, Kathy Mahaffey and Terry Russell, both of Arcadia, SC; niece, Jennifer Goyea (Matt), great-nephew and niece, Jackson Goyea and Ava Grace Goyea, all of Pauline, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2018, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, by The Rev.

Kenneth Cash. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S. Alabama Ave. , Chesnee, SC 29323.
