Obituary for Peter Allard Peter Allard, formerly of New York Mills, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 5, 2018. Born in Utica, NY on May 16,1942 to Oscar and Helen Allard, he graduated from Holland Patent High School, then joined the Marine Corps where he honorably served. He had a long career as a licensed examiner with the NY State DMV before retiring in 2002.

The essence of Pete was to laugh, joke, and enjoy anybody that was around him. Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Helen Allard, and brothers, Richard and Tom. Peter is survived by his wife & best friend of 51 years, Marylou Allard (Powell, OH)– son Peter Allard (Shawna) of San Marcos, CA, daughter Deb Onate (Jimmy) of Powell, OH, son Mark Allard (Gisela) of Dayton, OH, his seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

His brother Joe Allard (Bonnie), and many special friends and family who shared many laughs and great memories over the years. There will be a “Celebration of Life” Mass to be held at Sacred Heart & St. Mary in New York Mills, at 11:30 am on October 15th.
