OBITUARY Peter M Casamento February 3, 1933 – December 15, 2018 Peter M. Casamento, 85, of Manahawkin, N.J., (formerly of Franklin Lakes) passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Peter was born in West New York, NJ and raised in North Bergen, NJ. He was happily married to Gladys Casamento for over 63 years.

They resided in Franklin Lakes until moving to Manahawkin 16 years ago. Peter owned The Show Off Inc., retiring in 2002. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Franklin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department and an active member of the Lions Club for 53 years.

Peter was an usher at the St Francis of Assisi Parish during his retired years. He loved to spend time with his wife and family. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, his son, Peter and his wife Debbie of South Carolina, and his three daughters; Lynn Minetti and her husband Charlie of Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Cathy Delaney and her husband John of South Carolina, and Mary Ann Peterson of Bedminster; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 3-6 P.M. at Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home in Manahawkin. A liturgy will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 5pm at Thos.
