Peyton “Tater” King was born on December 13, 2006. After 12 short years he left this world on February 23, 2019. He passed away peacefully in his own bed.

He leaves behind his mother Brandi King, his daddy Jason Watson, his step sister Bethany Watson, his step-brothers Ethan Watson and Austin Watson, his baby brother Tucker Watson, his grandparents Hank “pow pow” and Cathey “nanny” Mckinney, his uncle and aunt Chris and Kala Mckinney, his aunt and uncle Crystal and Tojo Cofer, his cousins John, Jacob, Jiniva and Jack Cofer, Christopher McKinney and Zack Rogers. Even though he was only here for a short time he had such an amazing smile and sweet personality that everyone he met could never forget. At just a few weeks old he got the nickname “Tater” from his “pow pow” which fit him perfectly.

There were so many things he loved like the few years he spent at Little Lambs Daycare and Blythe Ave. Headstart. He played many different sports from Karate, basketball, wrestling and the last was football for the Bradley Youth Football League of which he was looking forward to their next season to begin.

Peyton was a huge video gamer and loved everything Army related. He could identify the names of guns as soon as he saw them. But the most important event that he waited years for was his baby brother, whom he called “tuck tuck”.

He was the best big brother you could ask for unless it was diaper changing time. Peyton and his smile will be missed by everyone that ever knew him. His parents want to give a special thanks to those who have helped them through this tragic event, especially the families and friends of Bradley Healthcare, American Portables, Sterling Collins with the Bradley Youth Football League and Tonya Mooneyhan with Eaton Hydrolics.

Along with everyone else for their prayers and donations. A Remembrance of the Life Service for Peyton will be held Saturday at 3 o’clock at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. James Hughes officiating.

The interment will follow at McInturf Cemetery in Birchwood with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 9pm and Friday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 9pm at the funeral home.
