Obituary for Mr. Phillip Joshua “Josh” Ulsch age 37, of Keystone Heights Mr. Phillip Joshua “Josh” Ulsch age 37, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Jacksonville October 7, 1980, and graduated with the class of 1998 from University Christian School where he was also pitcher for their baseball team. Josh had also graduated in 2010 from Luther Rice Seminary with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies, and was recently an aviation student.

He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and has used his knowledge of the Bible to help lead people to the Lord; he also led church mission trips to Brazil and Haiti. Josh loved spending time with his boys taking them to watch little league baseball games, and playing golf or tennis with his dad. Josh’s wife of 16 years Holly Marie (Gladden) Ulsch had also passed away in the accident.

He leaves behind his six wonderful boys, Samuel age 13, Benjamin age 12, Jonathan age 10, Andrew age 8, Juda age 2 and Israel 8 months of Keystone Heights; parents Phillip M. and Josie (Brooks) Ulsch; a sister Hillary Ulsch all of Bryceville. Also left behind is his paternal grandmother Evelyn Houck of Keystone Heights; his Uncle Don Ulsch of New York along with a host of additional family members and friends. Funeral services for Josh will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018, at Freedom Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jason Stephens and Pastor Terry Yerby will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Go Fund Me Account that has been set up for the boys. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E. WALKER DR.
