She was born on February 6th, 1945 in Sa Cat, Thai Binh to Khien Van Vu and Gam Thi Cao. She married Yen Viet Pham on April 15th, 1969 in Tan Viet, Saigon.

She was a housewife and made her living by sewing. She earned the title “Super Grandma“ for babysitting almost all of her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Tien, Vui, Vy, Lien, Loan, Tan and Tuan; her grandchildren: MyAnh, Thien Phong; PhuongTran, DuyThien; Khanh Vy, Phuong Thao; Tuyet Nhi, Gia Huy, Thanh Long; Khanh Nhat, Khanh Ly; Minh Hieu, Duc Anh, Bao Thu, Bao Duy, Quynh Anh; Nguyet Cat, Minh Vinh.

Visitation hours will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 10th, 2019; 7:00PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, February 14th, 2019; and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, February 15th, 2019 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E. Walnut St.). Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at St. Agnes Cathedral (533 S. Jefferson Ave. ) Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery (4528 W. Division St.).
