Phyllis’ Obituary Phyllis A. Trynowski, 76 of Dakota, MN passed away at the Mayo Health System in La Crosse on Thursday, March 7, 2019 following a short battle with A.L.S. Phyllis was born April 8, 1942, in La Crosse to Golden “Bud” and Mary (Kerns) Beach, she grew up in the Dakota area and graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1960. On November 24, 1962, Phyllis married Gary Trynowski in La Crescent, MN. Phyllis’ greatest joy was her family.

She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting activities, an occasional gambling trip with her husband, and the trips she took with her sisters, and niece and nephew. Phyllis enjoyed bowling in her younger years and in her later years the monthly lunches with cousins. She liked to sit down for a quick game of euchre if someone stopped by and going for Ranger rides .

Phyllis was also well known for bringing her famous chocolate brownies to family get-togethers. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Gary; three children, Shane (Debra) Trynowski, Tammy (Scott) Davison and Troy (Chris) Trynowski; six grandchildren, Matt (Kasie) Feran, Samantha, Brady, Corbin and Talan Trynowski and Owen Davison; three great-grandchildren, Lydia and Bryce Feran and Leo House; two sisters, Lilah Beach and Connie (Larry) Gile; a brother, Jerome Beach; a brother-in-law, James (Linda) Trynowski; nieces and nephews, Gerald, Odell (Val), Marcey (Larry), Lance (Lara), Kate, Jamie (Tammy), Shannon (Steve), Casey (Jeremy), Amanda (Justin), Ashley, Autumn, Alivia, Joe (Pam), LeeAnn (Phil), Jill (Bob), and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Golden “Bud” and Mary Beach; her father and mother-in-law, Vaughn and Alice Trynowski; former sister-in-law, Beth Hicke; a nephew, Monty Gellersen and a great-niece, Faith Jorgenson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 11th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dakota with Rev. Gregory Havel officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 P.M. Sunday at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 111 S. Oak Street, La Crescent, MN. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Memorials are suggested to the Dakota First Responders.

Phyllis’ family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire 9th floor staff at Mayo Health System, the Dakota First Responders and Tri State Ambulance for their wonderful care and support. We would also like to thank all those who visited the hospital and offered support and comfort during this difficult time.
