Phyllis (Kane) Santaskas, “Auntie Fuva”, 61 of Abington, Massachusetts died unexpectedly on November 20, 2018. Born in Boston Massachusetts in 1957, she graduated from Catherine Labouré School of Nursing and went on to pursue a lifetime of work as a licensed practical nurse, including 10+ years working for the Massachusetts Department of Correction. Phyllis was a loyal member of Red Sox Nation.

She loved taking her beloved Rottweilers, Sadie and Shana, to the dog park. She also enjoyed going on spontaneous road trips to anywhere and especially liked visiting restaurants reviewed on The Phantom Gourmet. Phyllis was the eldest daughter of the late Phillip Kane and Carolyn “Joyce” Kane.

She is survived by her sisters Cheryl (Kane) Brennon of Sanford, ME and Carole Kane of Abington, her brother William Kane of Holland, her niece Jessica Gillette of Sanford, ME and her nephew Mark Henneberry of Whitman. By request of the family, all services are private.
