Polly Miner, 53, passed away April 17, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer for the past four years. She was born September 16, 1964 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Sergio F. and Leila Hansen Talavera. She is survived by her parents, Sergio (Fred) and Leila; brother, Garrick (Jennie) Talavera, and their children, Jenicka, Garrick, and Jace; sister, Michelle (Jared) Bird, and their children, Gabriel and Halle.

She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a wonderful daughter and sister. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 21 at 4 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.

There will be a viewing Saturday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale.
