Obituary of Priscilla Stevens Priscilla L. Stevens of Cove Neck, NY died at home on Sunday, June 17, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. Ms. Stevens, the daughter of Col. Clinton M. Lucas and Anna H. Lucas was born in Baltimore, MD on July 2, 1930.

Due to her father’s postings, she lived on Army bases across the United States before enrolling at Westover School in Middlebury, CT. She attended Columbia University, C.W. Post University, and enjoyed continuing education at Oxford University and Cambridge University. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Byam K. Stevens Jr., four children: Priscilla (Cris), Byam III, Alden and Brooke, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Ms. Stevens served on the board of American Ballet Theatre for decades, and on the boards of Long Island University, Ballet West in Salt Lake City, and Old Westbury Gardens. She was the founding Chair of the Board of Directors of the Hutton House Lectures at L.I.U. Visitation at Oyster Bay Funeral Home 261 South St., Oyster Bay, NY Thursday, June 21 4-8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, June 22 at 11:00am at Christ Church, Oyster Bay where Ms. Stevens served for years as Warden and as the first female member of the Vestry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Church Stained Glass Window Restoration Fund.
