Janette King Bradley August 26, 1938 – May 19, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Janette Bradley, 80, of Williamsburg, MO, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO. Rose Janette Bradley was born August 26, 1938 in Pollard, Arkansas to Jonah Collins King and Ollie Cora Sellers King. Mrs. Bradley married Bobby Ray Bradley on September 27, 1958 in St. Louis County, Missouri, and they were married for over 59 wonderful years.

She worked as a licensed beautician in her home while her children were growing up and then retired from being an office manager for 30 years for a doctor’s office. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Mineola Baptist Church, made and served refreshments for the Mineola Baptist Church Vacation Bible School; a member of the Williamsburg Ladies’ Club; and of the Birthday Girls Club. She was a great cook and had the spiritual gift of hospitality, she was the Hostess with the Mostess.

Mrs. Bradley also enjoyed sewing, working with all her flowers and enjoyed watching birds. She was a great Wife, Mother, and Grandmother and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Bradley is survived by two children: Sandra Janette Scott and husband, Mark, of St. Charles, MO; and Randall Ray Bradley and wife, Annette, of St. Peters, MO; four grandchildren: Sarah Golden and Lee Nichol of St. Charles, MO; Jonathan Scott and wife, Betty, of St. Louis, MO; Bethany Miller and husband, Matt, of O’Fallon, MO; and Kyle Bradley and Jenelle Bennett of O’Fallon, MO; five great-grandchildren: Andrew Golden, Samuel Golden, Carson Miller, Mason Miller, and Rayden Bradley.

Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her parents, Jonah Collins King and Ollie Cora Sellers King; her husband, Bobby Ray Bradley, two children, Charles and Theresa Smith; and by eight siblings. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Mineola Baptist Church in Mineola, MO.

The Reverend Jim Cline will officiate and interment will be in the Williamsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers include Jon Scott, Kyle Bradley, Matt Miller, Lee Nichol, Andrew Golden, and Jason Cline.
