Homer Leon Miller, Sr., 68, of Bronson, Texas passed away January 15, 2019. He was born in Junction City, Arkansas on April 6, 1950 to the late Lonie Crofford Miller and Evelyn Christine Brazell Miller. Homer served his country proudly in the U. S. Marines.

Those left to cherish Homer’s memory are his wife of 48 years, Viola Landry Miller of Bronson; his daughter, Cristy Hanks and her husband, Dewayne of Nederland; his son, Leon Miller of Bronson; his grandchildren, Shelby Hanks, Brittney Hanks, Kaitlin Hanks, Victoria Miller, Korbin Miller, and Jolene Miller; his great-grandchildren, Faithanne, Chevy, Jose, Hunter, and Kenzlee; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim Miller; and his sister, Shirley Frisby. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a chapel service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
