Rachel A. Wellspeak, 84, of Westfield, passed away on Monday, May 20th, 2019. Rachel was one of 12 children born to the late Sam and Frances (Bergmann) Bard. She was raised in Westfield MA and attended local schools.

She was predeceased by a son, William (Billy) in 1976, her parents, her brothers Dickie, Alan, Sam, Robert and William and her sisters, Marie and Judy. She is survived by 4 children, Paul Jr. and his wife Mary; Cheryl Zdebski and her husband John; John and his wife Rachel; and Joseph. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Paul III and his wife Abby, Michael, Christopher, Christine, Stephanie, John, Jaymes and Cameron.

She is also survived by her only great grandson, Paul IV ( PJ ), her siblings Frank, Eleanor, Priscilla and Linda and her husband Jim Perez and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. The family would like to thank Western Mass Hospital and its employees for going above and beyond to make the last 3 and a half years as enjoyable as possible.
