She was born in San Antonio, TX on March 11, 1965 to Fernando and Mary Alice Paz, Preceding Mrs. Cantu in passing were: her father, Fernando A. Paz; and son, Justin C. Cantu. Surviving relatives include: her mother, Mary Alice Paz; son, Edward Cantu Jr. (Starlet); sisters, Janet P. Macias (James), Elise P. Rainwater (Dwight L.), Patricia P. Kierstead; grandchildren, Sage, Mikaela and Delilah.
