OBITUARY Rachel Henderson December 20, 1942 – November 21, 2018 COKER – Rachel K. Henderson, age 75, of Coker, Ala. , went to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. A graveside service will be held at Memory Hill Gardens on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. Officiating the service will be Bro.

Jerry Koster and song by Betty Marcum. Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby K. Dutton and Reuben S. “Buck” Marcum, Sr.; her precious brother, Mark Marcum; and baby great- granddaughter, Holland White.

Survivors include her wonderful husband of 59 years, Wayne Henderson; son, Anthony Wayne “Tony” Henderson (Diane); daughters, Kathryn Sechrist (Garet) and Kristy Hayes (Ken); grandchildren, Brooke, Mariah, Brandi, Corey, Allison, Christopher, Matthew, Skylar and Dakota; great- grandchildren, Chloe, Ryleigh, Luca, Everly, Hudson and Connor; precious fur-babies, Tiny and Josie; brother, Reuben S. Marcum, Jr. (Ann); sisters, Peggy Gray (David), Joan Bigham and Susan Tingle (Larry); and several nieces and nephews. She was the pillar of the family, the most loving, giving person and never asked anything of anyone. Her humble and soft heart was what made her the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt to all.

This angel that God has chosen will be missed and her memories will be cherished. One selfless Angel just entered Heaven. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Corey Sechrist, Christopher Sechrist and Matthew Henderson; Reid White, Forest Mello, Jonas Pfeiler and Howard Marcum.

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
