Rae’s Obituary Rae Ann (Moore) Dill 76, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. She was born in Iola, Kansas, on November 6, 1942, to William “Ray” Moore and Viola (Haen) Moore Hoard. She graduated Iola High School and Iola Junior College, and was awarded a full scholarship to KU.

In 1962, she married Kenneth P. Dill and they welcomed three children, David, Angela and Darren. Rae Ann worked in the accounting field for several Wichita companies and in 1978 became an employee of AT&T. She retired in 2001.

After 37 years of marriage, she and Ken divorced. Rae Ann loved California and spent several extended vacations there. She had hoped to someday move there.

In 2011, Ken and Rae Ann lost their youngest son, Darren. Her survivors include Ken; children, David and Angela; grandchildren, Blake W. Dill and Ariana Dill-Carlberg, all of Wichita; sister, Paula K. (Bobby) Cole of Collinsville, OK; 3 nieces and nephews of Oklahoma; 5 nieces and nephews of Ken’s brother, Charlie Dill; her extended family and many close friends. Memorial Service, 1 p.m., Friday, January 18, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
