OBITUARY Maxine Elaine Brantley July 24, 1924 – January 7, 2019 Maxine Elaine Brantley, age 94, of Haysville, Kansas passed away on Monday January 7, 2019. Maxine was born July 24, 1924. She loved to garden and had the gift of gab, which made her a great Avon sales rep.

She enjoyed going to bingo twice each week with her daughter, Pat. Maxine retired from civil service after working for Social Security. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth Charlton; and her husband, Joe Brantley.

She is survived by her daughters, Maureen (Lyle) Brandon and Patricia Ewert; grandchildren, Christina Ewert, Brian (Brandie) Ewert, Tiffini (Adam) Clark, and Summer Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Mykael (Tyler) Rice, Garrett Jones, Brendan Ewert, Braidan Ewert, Bradley Hamilton, Hunter Hamilton, Jaxen Clark, and Zayden Clark; and great-great-grandchild, Olivia Rice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maxine’s name can be made to Beauties and Beasts PO Box 783001, Wichita, KS 67278. No services.
