Rae Gill, 79, passed away at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Rae was born Monday, September 26, 1938 in Sheffield, England, the daughter of Charles and Edith (Nicholas) MacMillan. Her family, mother, father, and brother, immigrated from Scotland to America in 1947 and made their new home in Laramie, Wyoming.

On September 11, 1965 she married Robbie Gill in Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved to Rawlins, Wyoming where she was a hair stylist for twenty years. In 1981 they moved to Saratoga and Encampment, Wyoming where they resided until she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stewart MacMillian.

She is survived by her husband Robbie Gill of Wheatland; daughter, Keri of Gillette, Wyoming; grandson, Nicholas Bider of Rock Springs, Wyoming; great grandson, Talon Bider of Rock Springs; sisters-in-law, Maureen MacMillian of Omaha, Nebraska and Janice “Gail” Allen of Lovell, Wyoming; brothers-in-law, Ron “Pat” Gill of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jim “Chris” Gill of Rawlins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will have a graveside service on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rawlins Cemetery with The Reverend Karen Buckingham officiating. A reception will follow the service at Southern Baptist Church, 2005 Darnby Road.
