Mr. Lawrence was born in Gourdeneck, Arkansas June 22, 1936, to the late George and Irene Bailey Lawrence. He worked in construction/communications for over 45 years.

After retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling all over the country. Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Theresa, brothers, A.J. and Herman Lawrence, a sister Venita Scott and great grandson Layton Hodges. Mr. Lawrence is survived by his longtime companion, Emma from White Oak Lake, one son, Andy and wife Sherry, two daughters Carla Lewallen and Karen Lawrence, two sisters Rose Cothern of Malvern, Betty Sue Rogers, six grandkids and thirteen great grandkids.

Special thanks to Hospice of OCMC and Dr. Braden for the exceptional and wonderful care they provided for our beloved Carl. Special thanks to Darold and Ruth Wamsher. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 23, 1:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
