He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy B. Spencer, his parents, Theodore and Velma Spencer and three brothers, Cole, Irvin, and Dean Spencer. Mr. Spencer was a member and Trustee of New Cove United Methodist Church and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ridgedale Cemetery.
