Obituary for Ralph W. Trautman Ralph W. Trautman, 92, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Gertrude M. “Trudy” Dietz Trautman. On April 13th, they celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on January 17, 1926, he was the son of the late Hardie E. and Kathryn J. Garrett Trautman. Ralph retired from Bethlehem Steel as a tool & die maker after 33 years of service. He served in the US Navy during WW II.

He was a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, the Lebanon Shriners and the Mt. Olivet Lodge, #704. He especially enjoyed travelling with his wife.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Gary L. and his wife Lori Jo Trautman of Lancaster; brother James H. Trautman of Dover, OH; grandchildren Timothy & Becci Trautman and Laura & Bob Schneider; great grandchildren Lily, Max and Benjamin Schneider and Samara & Brielle Trautman; his daughter-in-law Yvonne T. Trautman. He was preceded in death by his son Larry A. Trautman. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 98 Fisher Ave.

, Jonestown. A masonic service will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by the viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment, with military honors, will be held on Friday, December 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
