Ramona Trammell Kincey passed away in Auburn, Alabama, on May 2, 2018. She was born on July 4, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Holden Kincey, Sr. Her parents Harry Tramell and Alice Cunningham Trammell.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Wood (Randy) of Lillian, Alabama, son, Johnny Kincey (Karen) of Auburn, Alabama, Laurie Manderson (Web), Mary Beth Driggers, Bobby Driggers (Susan), grandchildren, Jeff Robinson (Kristyn) of Fairhope, Alabama, Lauren Hulak (Chris) of Lillian, Alabama, Vicki Hulak Stankoski (Rob) and Holden Kincey of Auburn, Alabama, and 6 great-grandchildren, Kincey Coley, Leighton Tassin, Grant Robinson, Merritt Robinson, Preslie Allen, and Amelia Ferlisi. Mrs. Kincey graduated from Albert G. Parrish High School. She worked at Craig Air Force Base in civil service.

She also worked at Edgewood Elementary School and Westside Junior High School for many years. She later became the Executive Director of Craig Airport Authority where she retired after many years. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Selma where she served as a Sunday School teacher and GA leader and served on many committees.

During her retirement years, Mrs. Kincey worked with Meals on Wheels. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeff Robinson and Holden Kincey, Web Manderson, Ford Manderson, Bobby Driggers, Robert Johnson, and Buster Zuezlke. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews Dr. Alan Hicks and Terry Hicks, Menzo Driskell, William Langdon, Stewart Corley, Hans Poulson, and Harold Speir.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 – 10:45 a.m. in the Kathleen Mallory Parlor at First Baptist Church Education Building. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Light and Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Selma.
