Juanita Elliott Cowling passed away July 29, 2018 at the age of 95. She was born July 4, 1923 to the late Jesse and Sara Catherine Elliott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Cowling; brothers, Charles Elliott and Jesse Elliott; sisters, Lola Leichardt, Margaret Adair and Catherine Thornton.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Cowling Allen; sons, Leonard Elliott (Carolyn) Cowling and Timothy Franklin (Jeannie) Cowling; sister, Barbara Smith; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Bold Springs Presbyterian Church (7544 Cahaba Valley Road Birmingham, Alabama 35242) with Pastor Charles F. Kukal officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing.
