Randal Mason Walden November 20, 1970 – January 03, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Randal Mason Walden passed from this life on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He was born, November 20, 1970, at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, to Billy E. Walden and Paddy (Mason) Walden. He attended Ada Public Schools, graduating in 1990.

He served four years in the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Lexington during Desert Storm. After serving his country he attended Tulsa Welding School and after completing his training there attended Diving and Underwater Welding School in Houston, Texas. He worked as an offshore welder for Texas Welders.

He most recently was an over-the-road driver for Texas Containments, Kennedy, Texas. He enjoyed surfing and outboard racing, hang gliding and his pet bulldog, Bob-O. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paddy Walden, his grandparents Mitt and Jewel Walden and G.R. and Leota Mason.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Thellys Walden, Tulsa, OK; his sister, Erin Walden of Ada, OK; his brothers Glen Walden, Houston, TX, Greg Oliver and Steven Oliver (Kim), both of Tulsa, OK; two nephews, Maxwell Mason Walden, College Station, TX and Mykuhl Thompson, Ada, OK; three nieces, Serra Thompson, Ada, OK, Kelsey Rice (David), Oklahoma City, OK. and Kenzie Oliver, Norman, OK. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Ada, OK on a date to be announced.
