OBITUARY Randy Cook October 19, 1941 – July 26, 2018 Randy Cook Oct. 19, 1941-July 26, 2018 Randy would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call, a sort of offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning.

This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be golfing daily, fishing for the big one, hunting the buck with a huge rack, haunting his wife for a giggle, and sending all his laughter and love to his family… maybe even a naughty joke or two.

He is now enjoying hair atop his head again while enjoying a tasty whisky and Squirt. He left detailed instructions for Sandy, Christina, Isla and all his family and friends to celebrate his life. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.

Cheers to a loving, funny, wonderful man and dad, cheers to Randy! A Memorial Service is planned for Monday, August 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Elk Rapids. Memorial contributions in Randy’s memory may be made to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, 9922 Front Street, Empire, MI 49630 attn: Superintendent.
