Ray Mills “Bayway Ray”, 73, of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. Born in Black Stone Hollow, West Virginia, he resided in Elizabeth since he was 15 years old. Mr. Mills was a retired chemical operator for the American Cyanamid for almost 30 years and was a member of the International Chemical Workers Union.

He was an avid boxing fan, enjoyed baseball and football. He loved playing guitar, a good poker game and he loved his cowboy boots. He was also an animal lover, especially dogs and horses.

Ray was always willing to help everybody, would give a shirt off his back. He was the beloved father of Rena Marlene Mills-Moya, loving brother of Bernard Mills, Jr., Janet Walker, Doris Bronning, Retha Moore, Julia Whittaker, the late Bobby, Glennna Kaye, Betty Jo, Leonard, Wanda, Donald and Jay. Cherished grandfather of Max Nicholas Moya,with whom he shared a special bond, dear companion of Ana Mejia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. George Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Visiting 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Interment Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
