Raymond A Siebert, 93, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Lutheran Home. He was born May 11, 1925 in Tilsit, Missouri to Albert and Ida Lange Siebert. He and Elsie Haertling were married January 20, 1951 at Jackson, Missouri.

He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau and was a 50 year member of its men’s club. He worked at Moon Distributing 40 years retiring in 1987. He enjoyed working at the Trinity Men’s Club stand at the SEMO District Fair.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with family and friends, and gardening. He traveled the country with Elsie in his pop-up camper. Raymond loved spending time with his kids and especially loved keeping score on his hand for his grandkids ballgames.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Judy Kay (Rick) Wieser and Nancy Sue (Randy) LeGrand both of Cape Girardeau, two sisters, Dena Kamp of Burfordville, Missouri and Pearl Keller of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Alexandra Wieser of Estes Park, Colorado, Maxwell Wieser of Cape Girardeau, Raegan Wieser of Cape Girardeau, Nicholas (Alicea) LeGrand of Jackson, Missouri, Luke LeGrand of Cape Girardeau. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Terry Lynn Siebert; three sisters, Ruth Volkerding, Eugenie Wessel, and Ruby Siebert; a brother, William Siebert. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00PM at Ford & Sons Mt.

Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be at 1:00PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Maske officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Raymond A Siebert please visit our Sympathy Store.
