Raymond “Dee”‘s Obituary Raymond “Dee” Clayton, age 74 of Holy Cross, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore. He was born July 16, 1944 in Holy Cross to the late William Rodman and Mary Bertha Donahue Clayton. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Marie Miles. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Anne Ball (Jimmy) of Culvertown and Libby Sims (Nick, Jr.) of Bardstown; two brothers, Kenneth Clayton (Rita) of Holy Cross and Bernard “Bummy” Clayton (Bobby) of Bardstown; many nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 15, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside.

Inurnment will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
