OBITUARY Raymond Edward Seets February 16, 1932 – November 7, 2018 Raymond Edward Seets, 86 of East Peoria passed away at his residence on November 7, 2018 at 10:50 a.m. Raymond was born on February 16, 1932 to Beecher and Mattie (Jenkins) Seets in Harrisburg, IL. He married Doris Schwartz on January 20, 1951 in Harrisburg, IL. She survives.

He is also survived by his sons Dennis Seets of North Pekin, IL. , Steve Seets of Minnesota, and one daughter Rhonda (Charlie) Cuevas Of Marquette Heights, IL. ; two brothers Eugene Seets of Morton, IL.

, Dewaine (Carolyn) Seets of Fulton, MO. ; one granddaughter Dawn Thompson of Peoria, IL, one grandson Scott (Amanda) Weiss of Cypress, TX. , three step grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren; and his beloved cat Trevor.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He worked for Caterpillar for 33 years as a Machinist before his retirement. He loved his family more than anything, and the numerous cats him and Doris had over the years.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the ASPCA or TAPS in Pekin.
