Raymond’s Obituary Raymond Link Passed away 11-12-18 following a brief illness in Port Charlotte, FL with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 72 years to Betty A. Johnson Link. Raymond was born in New Haven on July 25, 1928 in New Haven to Raymond Sr. and Dorothy Mack Link.

Ray was a retired Captain of the New Haven Police Dept. and treasurer of the New Haven Police Federal Credit Union. He retired after 26 years of service and later worked for the State of CT Police Dept.

as a computer consultant for 8 years. He graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1947, earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice and Business Administration and attended Sacred Heart Univ. where he completed all course work towards his MBA.

Ray enjoyed golfing, working and building computers for family and friends and was the beloved and cherished father of five children- Gayle Nidoh(Donald), Joy Rogers(Ronald) and was predeceased by 3 sons Raymond III, Kevin(Karen) and Dennis(Rita); grandfather of eight grandchildren – Melissa Melendes, David Nidoh, Laura Carr(Adam), Christine Baluha(Dan), Brian(Becca), Amanda, Dennis Jr. and Ryan and also brother of Donald Link and Carol Ude; he was predeceased by sisters Marilyn Nuhn and Valerie Hibbard and a brother Kenneth. He was a lifelong member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus, and A.O.H. A memorial funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on January 26, 2019 at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 80 Taylor Ave. , East Haven, CT.
