Maluchnik, 94 of Linden, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at JFK in Edison. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation in the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue in Linden on Sunday, May 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday, May 20th in the funeral home at 10 am.

Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. In lieu of flowers, donations to DAV Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandra Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076, in his memory would be appreciated. Raymond was born in Jersey City where he graduated high school and then joined the Navy to proudly serve his country till 1945.

He married his sweetheart Hedwig who passed away in 2006. He was an avid bowler who thoroughly enjoyed playing the Accordion. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus 3946 in Roselle and a member of the American Legion.

Raymond is survived by; his daughter, Diane Myer, his son Michael and his partner Cherylyne Vasquez; his grandchildren, Jaclynn Rowan and her husband Jeffrey, Amanda Jennings and her husband Daron and Roman Maluchnik; his great grandchildren, Julia, Jaime and Jessa Rowan, Keira and Jada Jennings; and many nieces and nephews.
