Age 95. Husband of 72 years to Regina Constance “Jean” (nee Jurkiewicz) Jones.

Father of Carol Jones (husband James) Snyder of North Charleston, SC and Linda Jones of Voorhees, NJ. Grandfather of Col. Brian (wife Holly) Snyder, USAF of Idaho Falls, ID, and great-grandfather of Brady Snyder.

Son of the late Raymond and Emma (nee Wachowski) Jones. Born in Camden and raised in Blackwood, Raymond has been a resident of Clayton for the past 66 years. He proudly served three years in the US Navy as a Coxswain during World War II.

After leaving the military, Raymond worked as a carpenter for nearly 50 years, first with his father and uncle and later for Jack Kelly Construction in Woodbury until his retirement in 1989. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles and a handyman who could fix just about anything. Raymond’s family remembers him as a good husband and father.
