Raymond L. Butler, Jr., 66, of Roulette, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home after an extended illness. Raymond was born on December 14, 1951 in Renovo, the son of the late Raymond L. and Arlene Carrie (Freeman) Butler. He married the former Rhonda M. Huss on May 1, 1993, in Coudersport, and they have celebrated 25 years of marriage.

He was a graduate of Port Allegany High School, Class of 1971. He retired from Morgan A.M. & T, Coudersport, in 2015. Raymond was a member of Detect America, a metal detecting club.

He enjoyed metal detecting and fishing, he enjoyed watching “Gold Rush” and “Wicked Tuna” TV shows. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are, two sons, Robert and Jessica Butler of Canandaigua, NY: and Kevin Butler of Roulette; a daughter, Kacie Butler and Allen Wachwitz of Shinglehouse; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his step mother, Genevieve Butler. In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, a private burial in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette will take place at a later date.

The family suggests contributions in Raymond’s name to be made to the Roulette Fire Department and Ambulance Company, 12 River Street, Roulette, PA 16743. Arrangements in the care of the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, Coudersport.
