Raymond’s Obituary Raymond Lee Self, 81, of Auxvasse, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital – Audrain. Mr. Self was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Raymond was born on Jan. 21, 1937 in Blackwater, MO, the son of James and Lola Mae (Racy) Self. He married Ruth Parrott on Aug.

28, 1987 in Centralia, MO and she survives at the home. He had served in the National Guard and was a retired heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, sports, and his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Self of the home; children, Rhonda Mueller of Laurie, John Self of Quincy, IL, Ronda (Les Gordon) Fischer of Auxvasse and William (Kim) Claywell of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Christina (Dave) Lyon, Carmen (Jason Ulrick) Miles, Brianne (Neal Richmond) Cline, Michelle (Ryan) Hilderman, Kristen Mueller, Renee (Abby) Holden, Raymond Dade Self, William Daniel Claywell, and Monica Ayers; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Maggie (Billy) Bardin of Sedalia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Terry Lynn Self, a son Randy Davis, two sisters and one brother. Memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expense.
