Obituary for Rebecca Daggett Brooklyn. Rebecca Daggett, 77, of Brooklyn died Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Grinnell Hospital in Grinnell. She was born February 5, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Audrey Zimmerman.

She attended Iowa School for the deaf. On September 6, 1980, she was united in marriage to Henry Daggett in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Henry died March 29, 2017.

Rebecca worked for Tyson in Waterloo. She retired from there in 2010 after nearly 20 years of service. She enjoyed coloring adult coloring books, putting puzzles together, playing card games and board games, and playing games on the computer.

Rebecca was also very active with the deaf community. Her family includes her five children, John Williams of Brooklyn, Betsy (Tim) Richards of Blakesburg, Nancy Jones of Eustis, Florida, Ruthy Stevens of Ottumwa, and Jimmy Stevens of Newton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Lee (Leah) Zimmerman of Florida; a sister, Laurie Crall of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, and a great grandson in infancy.
