Rebecca Louise Rogers Walker, age 71, unexpectedly passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in her home. Born to Carey and Rachel Rogers on February 10, 1948, she grew up in Raleigh, NC and was the youngest of three sisters, Lois Ellen Rogers and Carey Oliver McFadyen, who preceded her in death. She married Bob Walker in June of 1969, and they had two children, Catherine Cooper Walker Norris and William Carey Walker.

Rebecca was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was always thinking of others and always made you feel welcome in her presence. Bob, Catherine, her husband Travis Norris, Carey, his wife Mary Walker, and the grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Norris, Rachel Norris, Addie Wuellner, and Skylar Wuellner would like to invite you to attend Rebecca’s memorial service held at Grace Fellowship Church in Kinston, Tuesday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation and a Celebration of life will be held immediately afterwards at the Kinston Country Club.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you give donations to Grace Fellowship Church at 327 Academy Heights Rd, Kinston, NC 28504 or to the Lenoir County SPCA at 2455 Rouse Rd Exd, Kinston, NC 28504.
