Regina A. (Rivers) Thomas, 38, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her residence. Born on September 16, 1979 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Billy Robertson and Joann (Rivers) Rich and the step-daughter of the late John Rich. Regina was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.

She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1997 and earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Niagara County Community College. Regina proudly served for 10 years in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged in 2012. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Erie County Medical Center and Willcare Home Care, until she became disabled in 2012.

Regina is survived by daughters, Faith Rivers, Dasia Thomas and Symphony Dolson; a grandson, Giovanni Carter and siblings, John Rich, James Rich, Michael Rich, Olu Robinson, Kali Robinson and Mickey Harris. She is also survived by grandparents, Sarah E. Rich and Bill Rivers; former spouse, Darris L. Thomas; Joann’s life partner, Glenwood Rich; her best friend, who was like a sister, Jackie Shaw; a special cousin-sister, Sloane Rich and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, June 14th beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Bethlehem Revival Temple, 2010 Virginia Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.

Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.
