Obituary of Wilhelmina Narkiewicz Wilhelmina Narkiewicz, 94, of Hampton, New Hampshire passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Exeter Center in Exeter, NH. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 4, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Jan and Mary (Smitz) Grochala and attended local schools. Wilhelmina retired 30 years ago from the Niagara Falls city assessor’s office where she was a property and title clerk.

In 1992, she moved to Hampton, New Hampshire with her daughter, Sharon and husband to be closer to her grandchildren. Wilhelmina was a member of The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America for over 50 years. She was also a member of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church in Hampton, NH, where she attended mass every Saturday.

She also enjoyed walks by the ocean. She is survived by two daughters, Susan N. Hurrell and Sharon A. Narkiewicz; grandchildren, John and Catherine; great-grandchildren, Noah and Luna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Matthew H. “Narky” Narkiewicz; brothers, Ted Grochala and Edward Grochala and sister, Lottie Mamon. Friends may call Friday, July 20th from 5-8 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC. , 319 24th Street, cor of Welch ave, Niagara Falls, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 21st at St. Vincent DePaul (St. Leo’s site), 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jerry Skrzynski officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.

Entombment following in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Lewiston, NY. In Lieu of flowers mass cards in Wilhelmina’s memory would be appreciated.
