Regina G. Klein, 94 of Jim Thorpe passed away Saturday December 1, 2018 in Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving daughter Regina Jeannie Klein by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband James Klein who passed away in 1982 and a companion of many years Austin Bott who passed in 2001. Born in East Mauch Chunk October 29, 1924 she was a daughter to the late John L. and Mary (Gallagher) Boyle.

She attended and graduated from the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing. She was an RN for many years and became Head of Pediatrics at Palmerton Hospital. She also worked at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital before retiring after 38 years.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Jim Thorpe where she was a member of the Women’s Club and the Catholic Daughters. She was also a member LAOH Jim Thorpe chapter. Surviving in addition to her daughter Jeannie are her sisters in law Rita Boyle in Stowe, PA and Gloris Boyle in Nesquehoning.

Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Betty Jane Reihman and brothers Justin and John Boyle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 6 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11am with Father James Ward officiating.

A calling hour will be held in church 10am until the time Mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Online condolences at www.
