REGINALD McCOY “REGGIE” BOWEN, age 62 of Jemison, passed away on November 25, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Bessemer, AL on May 14, 1956; the son of the late Talmadge McCoy Bowen and Orville Jean Hulsey Bowen. He was retired from Connell’s Pest Control.

Reggie was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by: Wife, Becky Bowen of Jemison; Son, Todd (Tiffani) Bowen of Jemison; Daughter, Shanda Bowen of Clanton; Step-Daughter, Mary Beth (Jason) Cox of Columbiana; Grandchildren: Keaton Sullivan, Halle Sullivan, Kai Bowen, Tyler Jones, Jordan McDonald, and Tommy Cox; Mother, Jean Bowen of Thorsby; Sister, Gwen (Douglas) Bell of McCalla; Brother, Mike (Benita) Bowen of Jemison; Sister, Cheri (Carey) Waldrop of Jemison; Brother, Brian Bowen of Jemison; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by: Father, Talmadge Bowen; Grandson, Kru Bowen; and Step-Son, Jeremy McDonald.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Allen Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in the Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, AL. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL. www.
