Rene was called to be with our Lord on May 12, 2019 at the age of 57. Rene is preceded in death by his mother Bertha M. Sanchez.

Rene is survived by his father Seciel Kelo Sanchez; daughter Brandy Nicole Sanchez; brothers S. Joel Sanchez and John Daniel Sanchez (Yoli); sister Rhonda Jo Ann Sanchez; grandchildren Christina R. Sanchez, Christian J. Alvarez, Jayce N. Vasquez, and Josiah E. Sanchez; and nephew John Daniel Sanchez II. Rene was a very hard working man and it showed as he worked for over 38 years as a plaster. Rene was a great story teller and he had an awesome sense of humor.

He loved an cared for his family and will be greatly missed. Please come and join the family of Rene Martinez Sanchez as we come together to pay tribute and celebrate the wonderful memories and a great life lived. Services are as follows: Friday – May 24, 2019 Visitation – 3pm – 9pm – Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd.

, San Antonio, Texas 78237, with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. Saturday – May 25, 2019 Catholic Church Mass – 10am – St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S San Augustine Ave. , San Antonio, Texas 78237.
