Obituary for Ressie Mae Cronic Ressie Mae Cronic, 85, of Germantown TN, passed away on July 28,2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Carl (Pete) Cronic. Ressie leaves 3 sisters, Esther Nix, Bethel Essary, Betty Miller; brother, Billy Phillips; four children, Jerry Applegate (Billie), Teresa Stewart (Denver), Vivian Cullen (Michael), Ramona Rork (Clyde); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and beloved friend, Lena Mace.

Ressie enjoyed cooking for family and entertaining at her cabin on the Spring River. She was an avid supporter and much help to her daughter, Ramona, who fosters dogs for Blues City Animal Rescue. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 31st, from 4:30-6:00 PM with service to follow at Canale Funeral Home, 2700 Union Avenue Extended.

Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, August 1st, at 10 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blues City Animal Rescue via Beth Aversa, 2376 Penbrook Fwy, Cordova, TN 38016.
