Rev. Jerry Hargrove January 28, 1936 – May 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Rev. Jerry Randle Hargrove, 83, a resident of Union, South Carolina, and formerly of Union City, died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at his residence.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday at East View Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1:45 on Sunday.

Mr. Hargrove was born January 28, 1936, in Union City, to the late Richard Sears Hargrove and Lovie Christine (Gray) Hargrove. He married Joyce Marie Williams February 12, 1954. She died September 25, 2013.

He was a retired Assembly of God minister for over 30 years. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra (Randall) Potter of Rock Hill, S.C.; two sons, Randy Hargrove and Richie Hargrove both of Union, S.C.; four grandchildren, Kim Renner, Williams Potter, Jr., Kaitlyn Johnson and Aimee Potter; eight great-grandchildren, Nicole Renner, Bridgette Potter, Keri Potter, Andrew Renner, Levi Potter, Piper Potter and Natalee Johnson; two brothers, David Hargrove of Nashville and Richard Hargrove of Jackson. He is preceded in death by one sister, Katie Guess; and one brother, Arnold Hargrove.
